Make Your Own Hampers
Waking up on the morning of the 25th and receiving a hamper full of thoughtful gifts is a great way to get Christmas started. There are infinite possibilities when it comes to creating a personal hamper, so you’ll be able to give those closest to you exactly what they like. Your starting point is to find a big enough basket whether it is wicker, wire, cloth or wood, then you can start filling it with items you know they will love.
In the hectic world we live in, it can be easy to forget to slow down and take a moment to focus on ourselves, so why not create the perfect ‘mindfulness’ hamper and offer someone a reason to indulge. Include an aroma diffuser with their favourite essential oil, hot water bottle, slippers, eye mask and something from our mindful stationery range to ensure they have a restful and pampering experience.
Snug as a bug
Being encouraged to snuggle up on the sofa seems like a fantastic gift to us, so by including a super soft throw, blissful scented candle, slippers and a good book, they’ll be able to shut out winter chills and escape into a cosy world of their own. If you haven’t got a basket to hand, using a decorative tray instead will add in another reusable present that’s also a perfect place for a luxury candle, diffuser and flowers, maybe even adding a photo frame with a meaningful picture, quote or postcard to make it really thoughtful.
Festive soak
If you have a friend or family member who loves a good soak in the bath, then a spa-throom hamper is just the ticket. You can easily pull together a generous hamper that is complete with a snuggly dressing gown in their favourite colour, bath pillow to melt into, gorgeous smelling diffuser and a new towel to wrap up warm in afterwards. Fancy adding an extra touch for the bath-lover in your life? We sell a fantastic range of bath racks (that could also double up as the basket you present the other gifts on) that will allow them to keep their candles, soaps and other lovely bits close by. They’re also handy in helping them keep a book propped up and holding a cheeky glass on something for the ultimate bathing experience.
Christmas is a joyous time of togetherness, laughter, and not forgetting food! If your friend fancies themselves as the next Jamie Oliver, then a food hamper sounds like the way to their heart. Filling a basket with fun items such as a chopping board, apron, tea towel, new spices and herbs they haven’t tried, or why not try getting those tastebuds going with some homemade fudge (which is delicious and impressive, but amazingly simple to make).
