FAQ's
Gift Cards are physical, credit card-sized items and can be purchased in Dunelm stores or other participating retailers.
An e-Gift Card is digital, can only be purchased online and is sent out to the recipient via email. e-Gift Cards can be sent instantly for the recipient to start spending right away. Alternatively, you can buy an e-Gift Card and ask us to send it to the recipient at a later date… just tell us when.
Gift Cards purchased after 24th June 2024 and e-Gift Cards can be used for full or part payment of eligible items in any Dunelm store or online at www.dunelm.com. Online, simply add your products to the basket then go through to checkout. Under payment options you will see ‘Redeem a Gift Card’. Select that and follow the onscreen directions to add your 19-digit card number and 4-digit PIN number. Then click ‘Apply Gift Card’.
Please note, you can only use one e-Gift Card per online transaction.
Gift Cards purchased prior to 24th June 2024 can only be used in Dunelm stores, they cannot be used online. These cards can be identified by a barcode that starts with the number 9.
You can use your Gift Card/e-Gift Card to buy most items. However, Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed against purchases using credit payment options such as (but not limited to) Creation, Klarna and PayPal.
Gift Card and e-Gift Card purchases and redemption are not eligible for cashback or other loyalty points incentive or donation schemes when redeemed at Dunelm or through any other third party service. When paying with a Gift Card or e-Gift Card in combination with another payment method, the other payment method may still qualify for cashback, please check the relevant service terms.
Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are valid for 24 months from the last transaction (which includes the initial activation of the card, spending funds or balance enquiries). Once your Gift Card/e-Gift Card expires, it can no longer be used, and any remaining balance will be lost. You won’t be notified of your expiry date.
Gift Cards or e-Gift Cards purchased from Dunelm directly can be loaded with any amount from £1 to £999.

Can I top-up my gift card/e-gift card after purchase?
No, we don’t offer top-ups of Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards after they’ve been purchased.

What happens if my gift card is lost, stolen or damaged?
Please look after your Gift Card. We can’t accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged cards, and any remaining balance will be lost.
What happens if I apply my e-gift Card to an order online, but don’t complete the order?
If you enter your card number and PIN but don’t select ‘pay’, nothing will be deducted. If you select pay and then cannot complete the transaction beyond this point, the purchase amount will be returned to the Gift Card / e-Gift Card after approximately 30 minutes.
